About me… I was born in 1984, I am a middle child, I am a Taurus, I do not enjoy long walks on the beach because sand is either too hot and it burns my feet or it is too cold and wet and make my feet soggy like after a bath or a 9 hour soak in Steve’s Dad’s hot tube circa the college years. I am passionate about my own education, my role in student affairs and their right to a fair, accessible, and quality student collegiate experience. I was born on a military base. I had dogs growing up. I was in the high school marching band… the pep band… the concert band… our poor attempt at a Jazz band and every other sort of nerdy band ensemble you could think of. I enjoy the pace of baseball. Ice hockey makes me anxious and slightly nauseated when watching it on a TV. I enjoy breathing, hearing, seeing, and knowing what’s around me, because there are a lot of people in this world that can’t. I strive to be better than what I am but will settle for mediocrity. This life is an attempt to learn to walk and hopefully if I can master the beginning before the end, the middle will have been just right.
